What do your funds actually hold, together?

A fact sheet describes one fund. Your money is in several, and the same companies sit in more than one of them. From each fund’s own SEC Form N-PORT filing this page computes the union: the largest positions seen through every fund you hold, how much of your money is the same stock counted twice, where it sits by country, what part of it is swap or futures exposure rather than shares, and how many equal holdings the whole thing behaves like. Any 1063 funds on file, up to 12 at once.

How to read this

Enter each fund's share of your portfolio (rows don't need to sum to exactly 100 — they're normalized). The result lists what the mix holds once every fund is looked through: the largest positions and how many of your funds carry each, the share of your money in positions held by two or more of them, the country split, and any swap or futures notional. Effective holdings (how many equal holdings the mix behaves like) is 1 divided by the Herfindahl index of the merged, weighted position list; if it lands well below the weighted average of each fund's own figure, you are paying for diversification you already had.

Sources and limits

Computed from SEC Form N-PORT (NPORT-P), matching positions on CUSIP where the filing gives one, same method as the fund-vs-fund overlap pages. Only funds with position-level N-PORT on file can be combined — unit investment trusts (SPY, DIA) don't file it and can't appear here. Figures are as of each fund's most recent filing, not today.
